Ingredients
- Fresh spinach (palak) – 250 gm
- Paneer – 250 gm (cubed)
- Onion (chopped) – 1 medium
- Tomato (chopped) – 1 medium
- Green chilli – 2
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Fresh cream – 2 tbsp
- Butter or oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – To taste
- Water – as required
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1
Wash spinach thoroughly and blanch it in hot water for 2–3 minutes.
Step 2
Transfer spinach to cold water and blend into a smooth puree with green chilli.
Step 3
Heat butter or oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
Step 4
Add onions and sauté until soft and golden.
Step 5
Add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes become soft.
Step 6
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.
Step 7
Add spinach puree and cook for 5–7 minutes on low flame.
Step 8
Add paneer cubes, garam masala, and fresh cream. Mix gently.
Step 9
Cook for 2–3 minutes and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
